Mission Statement

Williams Township is a second-class municipality in Dauphin County, Pennslyvania, and is classified as an instrumentality of the Commonwealth. The township supports a population of approximately 1,063 (based on 2020 census) and 126 square miles.

The support provided includes road and storm drainage maintenance within the township and recreation facilities provided to the township. Support is also provided to the volunteer fire company and emergency medical service that cover our area.

We maintain a municipal building which contains an administrative office and garage area for two F350 dump trucks with plows and various tools/equipment; a separate storage garage which contains seasonal vehicles and equipment; and shed with two storage bins for road salt and coal ashes. Our source of funding is local taxes. Our hours of operation for the maintenane personnel are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; and office personnel are available from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
